The sky
on 26 April 1923.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You take your time, and no one will make you lose it. You commit late, after looking at everything, and then you do not go back on it.
Venus rules this sign. In its constellation shine the Pleiades, seven sisters to the Greeks, visible to the naked eye on winter nights.
What you build, you want to be able to touch. What you are pressed to decide, you refuse first.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
What settles you
Your birth time settles it.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
Your birth time settles it.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste.
What gets you moving
You fight with words. You answer back on the spot, you open ten projects, and you change angle as soon as something jams.
Gemini is Castor and Pollux: one mortal, the other not, inseparable all the same. Mercury, the fastest planet around the Sun, rules this sign.
Your comebacks sometimes hit harder than you meant.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Gemini, it runs through words and several threads at once. You get bored before other people do, and it shows.
How you think
You think slowly and you retain everything. You need something concrete: an example, a figure, something to handle.
Once your mind is made up, arguing with it is a waste of time.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
Where you think big
You grow in crises. What frightens others interests you, and you gain strength there.
The brightest star of the constellation is Antares: the rival of Mars. Mars rules this sign in the old astrology, Pluto in the new.
Your appetite goes to the bottom of things: other people’s money, secrets, what goes unsaid.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Scorpio, it plays out fully and in private. You watch for a long time before committing, then you do not let go. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you hold firm
You take bonds seriously. A commitment, for you, gets kept, and you want it to be fair.
Libra is the only sign of the zodiac that isn’t a living thing: it is an instrument. It weighs, and it stops only when both pans are level.
Saturn is in exaltation in this sign: you know what an agreement is worth.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Libra, it is measured against the other person. You adjust to whoever is across from you, until your own position blurs. Received as a guest of honour: amplified, sometimes past reason. A strength to dose, not to prove. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
What dominates
You feel before you understand, and your memory files moments by what they did to you, not by their dates. Water's known flip side: absorbing moods that are not yours.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
