The sky
on 4 December 1926.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You need a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate.
The centre of our galaxy lies in the direction of Sagittarius: look toward the archer, and you are looking at the heart of the Milky Way. Jupiter, the largest planet, rules this sign.
You go farther than planned, and it is rarely an accident.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate.
What settles you
Your birth time settles it.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you comes from elsewhere. Another language, another accent, a way of seeing you did not know. You like the door left open.
People keep you by leaving with you, never by holding you back.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate.
What gets you moving
You do not start fast, and you do not stop either. People can push you for a long time and get nowhere. Your anger takes months to come, and as long to leave.
Venus rules this sign. In its constellation shine the Pleiades, seven sisters to the Greeks, visible to the naked eye on winter nights.
Mars is in detriment in this sign. Your strength is holding on.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
How you think
You think by digging. You hear what people do not say, and you ask the awkward question.
The brightest star of the constellation is Antares: the rival of Mars. Mars rules this sign in the old astrology, Pluto in the new.
You say little, and you aim true.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Scorpio, it plays out fully and in private. You watch for a long time before committing, then you do not let go. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you think big
You grow with others, through ideas. A network, a cause, a new way of doing things carry you further than personal success.
Aquarius carries water in every drawing, yet it is an air sign: what it pours is ideas. Saturn rules it in the old astrology, Uranus in the new.
Your best openings often come from people you did not know the day before.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Aquarius, it happens off the rulebook. You step back where others lean in, and it reads as coldness.
Where you hold firm
You want convictions that hold. You doubt for a long time, you check, you build your own view.
What you believe, you have paid for, and you hold to it.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate.
What dominates
You start faster than most people, and waiting costs you more than doing. Fire's known flip side: starting comes more naturally than finishing.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
