The sky
on 12 May 2013.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You take your time, and no one will make you lose it. You commit late, after looking at everything, and then you do not go back on it.
Venus rules this sign. In its constellation shine the Pleiades, seven sisters to the Greeks, visible to the naked eye on winter nights.
What you build, you want to be able to touch. What you are pressed to decide, you refuse first.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
What settles you
You settle by talking. A worry put into words already weighs less, and someone to write to beats an hour alone with it.
Gemini is Castor and Pollux: one mortal, the other not, inseparable all the same. Mercury, the fastest planet around the Sun, rules this sign.
Silence, for you, is nothing like rest.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision. In Gemini, it runs through words and several threads at once. You get bored before other people do, and it shows.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you is a mind. Someone who makes you laugh, answers fast, surprises you by the third sentence.
You fall under someone’s spell in writing as much as face to face. When the exchange dies, the rest follows.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Gemini, it runs through words and several threads at once. You get bored before other people do, and it shows.
What gets you moving
You do not start fast, and you do not stop either. People can push you for a long time and get nowhere. Your anger takes months to come, and as long to leave.
Mars is in detriment in this sign. Your strength is holding on.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
How you think
You think slowly and you retain everything. You need something concrete: an example, a figure, something to handle.
Once your mind is made up, arguing with it is a waste of time.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
Where you think big
You grow by learning. A book, a meeting, one more subject: your best doors open through talking.
Jupiter is in detriment in this sign: you know many things, less often where they lead.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Gemini, it runs through words and several threads at once. You get bored before other people do, and it shows. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
Where you hold firm
You hold firm in what hurts. You control what touches you, and you confide nothing easily.
The brightest star of the constellation is Antares: the rival of Mars. Mars rules this sign in the old astrology, Pluto in the new.
You come out of trials with a strength few people see.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Scorpio, it plays out fully and in private. You watch for a long time before committing, then you do not let go. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
What dominates
You trust what can be verified — a plan, a number, a proof. Earth's known flip side: change requires a serious reason, never a passing urge.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
