The sky
on 6 May 2016.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You take your time, and no one will make you lose it. You commit late, after looking at everything, and then you do not go back on it.
Venus rules this sign. In its constellation shine the Pleiades, seven sisters to the Greeks, visible to the naked eye on winter nights.
What you build, you want to be able to touch. What you are pressed to decide, you refuse first.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
What settles you
What settles you can be touched: a meal, a familiar place, a habit nobody disturbs. Your mood does not change quickly, and pushing you will not change it.
The Moon is exalted in this sign: it is where feelings stop moving.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it. Received as a guest of honour: amplified, sometimes past reason. A strength to dose, not to prove.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you can be touched and tasted: skin, a fabric, a well-laid table. You love slowly, and you keep.
Venus is at home in this sign. Your loyalty shows in gestures, rarely in sentences.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it. At home. What it governs runs without resistance — the ground where you do not have to force anything.
What gets you moving
You move toward a distant goal, in long strides. You fight for an idea, a conviction, and you lose patience with what seems small to you.
The centre of our galaxy lies in the direction of Sagittarius: look toward the archer, and you are looking at the heart of the Milky Way. Jupiter, the largest planet, rules this sign.
You set off strong, and the road interests you more than the last mile.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
How you think
You think slowly and you retain everything. You need something concrete: an example, a figure, something to handle.
Once your mind is made up, arguing with it is a waste of time.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you think big
You grow through detail. A trade learned thoroughly, a tool mastered, a method that works.
Mercury rules this sign and is exalted in it, a case unique in the zodiac. The brightest star is Spica, the ear of wheat.
Jupiter is in detriment in this sign: better sometimes stops you seeing good.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Virgo, it gets settled in the details. You spot what is off before looking for it, and you say so. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you hold firm
You want convictions that hold. You doubt for a long time, you check, you build your own view.
What you believe, you have paid for, and you hold to it.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
What isn’t there
There is no air in your chart. Not one point, out of the 10 we count.
Analysis is not your first reflex: what you know, you know from direct experience — explaining it comes later, when it comes at all.
Why?
We count the ten planets and the rising sign, as in the app.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
