The sky
on 16 April 2024.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You have already started. While others weigh it up, you move on the first idea and correct as you go.
The zodiac starts here, at the March equinox. Mars rules this sign, and the Sun is exalted in it.
Waiting costs you more than being wrong. The real question is what you finish.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Aries, it starts before it is ready. You decide fast, correct on the move, and waiting costs you more than being wrong. Received as a guest of honour: amplified, sometimes past reason. A strength to dose, not to prove.
What settles you
Your birth time settles it.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you is what resists a little. You make the first move without calculating, and you say quickly what you want.
Venus is in detriment in this sign: you know how to win someone over, and staying takes more effort.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Aries, it starts before it is ready. You decide fast, correct on the move, and waiting costs you more than being wrong. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
What gets you moving
You move without a straight line. You go around, you wait for it to pass, you sense where it will give. Direct confrontation costs you.
Pisces closes the zodiac. Two fish swim in opposite directions, tied by a cord. The star that makes the knot is called Alrescha: “the cord”, in Arabic.
Your strength comes in waves: nothing for days, then everything in one night.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Pisces, it happens by absorption. You take on the mood of a room without choosing to, and sometimes mistake it for your own.
How you think
You think by talking, and you talk before you have finished. Your ideas arrive in one block, and you decide fast.
You are often right too early, and you let people know.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Aries, it starts before it is ready. You decide fast, correct on the move, and waiting costs you more than being wrong. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you think big
You grow by accumulating. A good meal, a fine object, an account rising slowly: your confidence needs proof you can touch.
Venus rules this sign. In its constellation shine the Pleiades, seven sisters to the Greeks, visible to the naked eye on winter nights.
Too much is rarely enough for you, and that is where it costs.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Taurus, it takes the time it takes and it is not replayed. You commit late, then you do not revisit it.
Where you hold firm
You set limits on what overflows. Your feelings and dreams need a frame, and you learned that the hard way.
Your sensitivity, once held, becomes a real strength.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Pisces, it happens by absorption. You take on the mood of a room without choosing to, and sometimes mistake it for your own.
