The sky
on 9 August 2025.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You do things large or not at all. You need it to be seen, and lukewarm stings more than a flat no.
The Sun rules this sign: the only body in the chart that makes its own light. The brightest star of the constellation is Regulus, “the little king”.
You give in front of everyone. What you want back is to be truly looked at.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Leo, it is done large or not at all. You need it to be seen, and lukewarm stings more than a flat no. At home. What it governs runs without resistance — the ground where you do not have to force anything.
What settles you
You settle by taking distance. When it overflows, you observe, you analyse, you talk about something else.
Aquarius carries water in every drawing, yet it is an air sign: what it pours is ideas. Saturn rules it in the old astrology, Uranus in the new.
You need air, and people who do not take that as rejection.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision. In Aquarius, it happens off the rulebook. You step back where others lean in, and it reads as coldness.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you is someone you can put your bag down with. You feed people, you remember small kindnesses, and you give before being asked.
Cancer begins at the June solstice, the day the Sun stops and turns back. The Moon rules this sign.
You love the way people protect, and you take it badly when that isn’t wanted.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Cancer, it goes through who is present first. You protect before you explain, and you remember everything.
What gets you moving
You hesitate to strike first. You weigh, you consult, you look for the way out that upsets nobody. But faced with an injustice, you stand up.
Libra is the only sign of the zodiac that isn’t a living thing: it is an instrument. It weighs, and it stops only when both pans are level.
Mars is in detriment in this sign. You fight your battles better for other people.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Libra, it is measured against the other person. You adjust to whoever is across from you, until your own position blurs. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
How you think
You think out loud, and you tell a story well. An idea, for you, gets defended on your feet, with gestures and a punchline.
You find it hard to change your mind in front of everyone.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Leo, it is done large or not at all. You need it to be seen, and lukewarm stings more than a flat no. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
Where you think big
You grow by welcoming. A full table, an open house, someone to protect: that is where you feel rich.
Jupiter is in exaltation in this sign. Your generosity sometimes looks after everyone except you.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Cancer, it goes through who is present first. You protect before you explain, and you remember everything. Received as a guest of honour: amplified, sometimes past reason. A strength to dose, not to prove.
Where you hold firm
You have learned to hold back your drive. Starting without waiting costs you more than others, and you make up for it with an iron will.
The zodiac starts here, at the March equinox. Mars rules this sign, and the Sun is exalted in it.
Saturn is in its fall in this sign: you won your patience against yourself.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Aries, it starts before it is ready. You decide fast, correct on the move, and waiting costs you more than being wrong. Opposite its exaltation: weakened ground. Not a sentence — a place where you learn what others take for granted. Retrograde at your birth: seen from Earth, the planet was moving backwards. What it governs turns inward first, and shows later than it does in other people.
What isn’t there
There is no earth in your chart. Not one point, out of the 10 we count.
The concrete is not your starting point: ideas and impulses come first, structure gets chosen afterwards — it does not impose itself.
Why?
We count the ten planets and the rising sign, as in the app.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
