The sky
on 30 September 1957.
The sign of each planet that day, calculated from astronomical ephemerides (Paris time). When a planet changes sign during the day, the exact time is given: that’s where the birth time decides.
If this is your birth date
What you are trying to become
You tune yourself to whoever is across from you. You sense what they expect, you adjust, you look for the right word, and sometimes you no longer know what you wanted.
Libra is the only sign of the zodiac that isn’t a living thing: it is an instrument. It weighs, and it stops only when both pans are level.
What you are trying to become, you look for with someone. Injustice is the one thing you do not weigh.
Why?
What you are trying to become, and what you need to be recognised for. In Libra, it is measured against the other person. You adjust to whoever is across from you, until your own position blurs. Opposite its exaltation: weakened ground. Not a sentence — a place where you learn what others take for granted.
What settles you
Your birth time settles it.
Why?
What settles you and what puts you on alert, before any conscious decision.
What people see first
It takes your birth time and city.
Why?
The first thing people register about you, before they know you.
What draws you
What draws you has a secret. Lightness bores you fast: you need someone who holds your gaze and does not lie.
The brightest star of the constellation is Antares: the rival of Mars. Mars rules this sign in the old astrology, Pluto in the new.
Venus is in detriment in this sign. You give all or nothing, and you do not forget who betrayed you.
Why?
What draws you in and what you offer — in love as in taste. In Scorpio, it plays out fully and in private. You watch for a long time before committing, then you do not let go. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
What gets you moving
You hesitate to strike first. You weigh, you consult, you look for the way out that upsets nobody. But faced with an injustice, you stand up.
Mars is in detriment in this sign. You fight your battles better for other people.
Why?
What you go after, and how you fight when you meet resistance. In Libra, it is measured against the other person. You adjust to whoever is across from you, until your own position blurs. Opposite its home: adverse ground. What it governs takes deliberate effort — and is worth working for exactly that reason.
How you think
You think by sorting. You see the typo in the text, the error in the sum, the extra word in the sentence.
Mercury rules this sign and is exalted in it, a case unique in the zodiac. The brightest star is Spica, the ear of wheat.
Mercury rules this sign and is also in exaltation here. Your mind does not rest while one detail is still wrong.
Why?
How you think and speak — the pace, the level of detail, what you keep to yourself. In Virgo, it gets settled in the details. You spot what is off before looking for it, and you say so. At home. What it governs runs without resistance — the ground where you do not have to force anything.
Where you think big
You grow with someone. A partnership, a meeting, a well-found agreement open more doors than solitary effort.
You help the people around you grow, and they often return it.
Why?
What you take for granted, and the ground where you let yourself overreach. In Libra, it is measured against the other person. You adjust to whoever is across from you, until your own position blurs.
Where you hold firm
You want convictions that hold. You doubt for a long time, you check, you build your own view.
The centre of our galaxy lies in the direction of Sagittarius: look toward the archer, and you are looking at the heart of the Milky Way. Jupiter, the largest planet, rules this sign.
What you believe, you have paid for, and you hold to it.
Why?
What you take seriously, and where you hold yourself to a line. In Sagittarius, it needs a horizon. You take badly to having your ground narrowed, and you leave rather than negotiate.
What dominates
You need to understand before you feel, and talking about a problem is already part of solving it. Air's known flip side: staying above things instead of deciding.

What’s missing without the time
The rising sign, the houses and the exact degree of each planet depend on the time and place: the rising sign changes about every two hours. Add them in the calculator, or find your full chart in the app.
